I designed this skateboard deck to help out the folks at the Bordo Bello, a skateboard art fundraiser. The event is put on by the AIGA and all of the proceeds go directly to two places: Access Gallery and Youth Design Denver. All of the skateboards are going to be shown and auctioned off on December 11th at the Andenken gallery. A lot of incredible designers and illustrators are going to be there, are you? Learn more here: http://www.bordobello.com/about/
The design is influenced by the Mexican Day of the Dead celebration and also the tradition of vanitas still life painting, learn more about them here.
Denver was a winter wonderland last week, so it feels appropriate to bring out the holiday work. Enjoy. (Client: Western Union Elements: Spot illustrations, Hand Done Type & Posters)

I recently had the pleasure of working with the folks over at Western Union. I created a series of spot illustrations for their transaction sheet, that’ll be in every store ,and will explain how your money gets from point A, to point B in the Western Union system.
